A series of holographic projectors worn over the body, created from a failed attempt to make a cheap invisibility cloak. The devices project a mostly one-way (they'll still have occasional bits of fuzz obscuring their view from miscalculations) shell of undulating "fuzziness" in varying colours made up of the surrounding environment breaking up the person's silhouette and making it difficult to determine who they are or what they're doing.
