Robot Chassis

Case

Gain: 10 CP

Gain: 0 Module Slots

Cases are mass-produced robotic shells of notoriously poor quality. They are available in many varieties. Most case morphs are anthropomorphic, with a thin framework body standing just shorter than an average human.

Synth

Cost: 5 CP

Gain: 3 Module Slots

Synths are even more humanoid than cases and of better quality. They are commonly deployed for labor-intensive tasks in environments not suited for humans or for people who need a body quickly and cheaply or simply on a transient basis. Most designs are anthropomorphic, though various alternatives exist, including some based on uplift physiology.

Galatea

Cost: 8 CP

Gain: 5 Module Slots

This high-end shell is designed to increase the appeal and social acceptance of synthetic life forms. Galateas look expensive and their mental architecture is higher-end.

Dragonfly

Cost: 10 CP

Gain: 7 Module Slots

The dragonfly chassis takes the shape of a meter-long flexible shell with eight wings, four manipulator limbs, and a prehensile tail. Capable of near-silent flight in Earth's gravity, dragonfly bots fare even better in microgravity. Their wings operate independently and can rotate, allowing for graceful maneuvering, hovering, and tight turns.

Slither

Cost: 10 CP

Gain: 7 Module Slots

The slither chassis has the torso and head of a synth with a two-meter-long segmented tail. The frame uses undulation as a primary means of locomotion, though it can use its humanoid arms to pull itself when required.

Cephalopod

Cost: 15 CP

Gain: 9 Module Slots

The cephalopod chassis consists of a central core a meter in diameter connected to multiple prehensile tentacles. The prehensile limbs allow for movement on land while several vectored thrusters allow for movement in microgravity.

Arachnid

Cost: 15 CP

Gain: 9 Module Slots

The arachnid chassis takes the shape of an arthropod with three or four sets of limbs and a set of fine manipulator limbs near the head. The chassis can move by walking, hopping, using omnidirectional wheels on their limbs, or with the vectored thrust system in microgravity.

Daitya

Cost: 20 CP

Gain: 11 Module Slots

The Daitya chassis embodies the form of a sizable industrial mech, standing at just under three meters in height and boasting a weight of nearly one ton.

With remarkable strength and durability, it excels at operating in various hazardous environments and even in combat operations, with the right modifications.

Dragon

Cost: 20 CP

Gain: 12 Module Slots

The Dragon chassis takes the shape of a Dragon with two sets of limbs and a set of large mechanical wings. The chassis can move by various forms of locomotion. With its large wings equipped with powerful thrusters, it can fly at extreme speeds.

Giant Mecha

Cost: 25 CP

Gain: 20 Module Slots

The Mecha chassis takes the shape of a giant humanoid robot the size of the Leviathan. It's capable of slow flight with feet, hand, and back thrusters. With its large size, it can take in a lot of modules.

Robot Modules

Cost: 1 Module Slot

One or more of your limbs have access to a multitool that unfolds from a small pod.

Fractal Digits

Cost: 3 CP

Cost: 1 Module Slot

Cost: 1 Module Slot

One or more of your limbs have digits that split in a fractal giving you the ability to manipulate things on a nanoscopic scale.

Non-lethal Weapon Mount

Cost: 2 CP

Cost: 1 Module Slot

Cost: 1 Module Slot

A non-lethal weapon is mounted to your chassis (remote taser, microwave emitter, etc.), either embedded inside one of your limbs or mounted to your body with a pod.

Lethal Weapon Mount

Cost: 5 CP

Cost: 1 Module Slot

Cost: 1 Module Slot

A lethal weapon is mounted to your chassis, either embedded inside one of your limbs or mounted to your body with a pod.

Reinforced Armor

Cost: 5 CP

Cost: 1 Module Slot

Cost: 1 Module Slot

Your outer armor is reinforced with a hardened carbon alloy that makes it resistant to most low and medium-caliber weapons.

Secondary Cortex

Cost: 5 CP
