A Blank is a designation given to any human or sophont who possesses the rare mutation known as the "Pariah Gene" as a recessive trait which makes them generate an aura of negative psychic space that is highly disruptive to psychic powers. A psyker will find it difficult to affect the Blank and anyone in his/her general vicinity with his/her powers.
