ME (Material Energy) system
A complicated room-sized device capable of converting raw matter into energy and vice versa, storing it in hyper compact batteries. This machine can output the raw matter (stored as energy) in the form of any pre-defined patterns, allowing it to 3D print anything you have the blueprints and raw material for. Due to its size and fragile nature, it doesn't take well to being moved.
Portable ME Interface
The Portable ME Interface is the main form of interacting with the ME system, providing a plane that deconstructs touched objects and (wired or wirelessly) beams the energy to a nearby ME system and can reconstruct energy beamed back as objects, allowing it to act as a handy hammerspace or the way to print objects on the go, so long as it remains within range of course.
