Project V17/Powers/Shardless/Keystone Powers/Method

From Worm CYOA Wiki

Method

Cost: 10 SP

Required: Blacksmith of Potential

Your workshop has found itself holding a set of tools representing your crafting experience, these tools gain bonuses and modifiers as you craft in different locations over time. No river will give the same bonus, stone is the same. Places of importance, be it historically, magically, or spiritually give you bonuses and modifiers of an incredible quality. These tools can be brought into the world on their own, allowing you to bring forth the weight of every river you have used for quenching, every stone you have used as an anvil, every fire you have used for forging. Additionally, you are able to learn any and all methods of crafting, no matter the method, you are able to learn them. All of the little quirks that give each creator their own style, you are able to replicate and receive an increase of quality in the specialization of each creator.

Historical Insight

You are able to look into the future in order to see how important an area will be for crafting. In addition to looking into the future, you are able to glimpse the past of an area and design something based on the area’s history. A historic battleground could have you creating a weapon that fills itself up with blood as it kills more and more. This Psychometry applies to everything in existence, allowing you to look into anything you touch, be it a weapon, armor, piece of jewelry, even worlds cannot hide their history from your grasp.

Amalgam

You can combine materials together. If you have a powerful fire and a strong ice material, you can fuse them to make a fire and ice sword without conflicting. You can make a bow with the properties of dragon bone and vibranium. This is not limited to only physical materials, allowing you to make new materials that will shock crafters all around the world. With enough experience you will be able to pick and choose which aspects you wish to keep from each material and which aspects you wish to discard. Initially you will only be able to combine 2 materials, although that will change quickly once you begin to explore.

True Sight

You are able to break down items with thousands upon thousands of years worth of history, analyzing each and every instant of an item's past, allowing you to recreate them even greater than before. A sword that has been passed down for dozens of generations will gain a Myth upon being recreated by you. Nothing can hide from your True Sight, allowing you to analyze things regardless of barriers, stealth, illusions, or lighting.

Never-ending Refinement

You are able to reforge your creations endlessly, creating more and more iterations of the same exact thing over and over again further refining it each time. Each time you reforge a creation you gain new inspiration. If your reforged version is the greater of the two, it will become ‘the original’ version, inheriting everything that makes up the ‘old original’. You are able to reforge even the most basic creations into something that could end entire worlds at the very least, although it would take many iterations to reach that level. Every single iteration and copy becomes a part of your Armory.
