Myth

Cost: 10 SP

Required: Blacksmith of Potential

You are able to imbue your creations with a spark of history that will grow into a full blown story of its own, allowing your creations to grow to best fit their myth or legend. A sword used to kill dragons would find itself growing better at taking down dragons. In addition you are able to take from an item's story, giving you a bonus to best fit the part you took from. You can take a minor portion of an item's history, giving minor benefits, or take an item's entire history, giving you untold powers. This weakens or even removes all supernatural from an item, depending on how much you took. This loss in power only affects items not of your own making. For your own creations, you gain a growing well of power that grants you bonuses as your creations are used more and more.

Possibilities Abound

You are able to look into an item's future, allowing you to understand what it will become. Beyond looking into an item’s future, you are able to trim away possibilities you do not like, the more you trim away, the faster the item will grow. Do not worry about trimming away too much of any item, as any creation you make will always be able to develop itself further, every second of use sparks diverse possibilities.

Sticking to the Story

You are able to strengthen your creations by using resources that are inline with their innate Myth. Using a fang from a dragon would greatly benefit the item against dragons in the future, allowing a sword to slay a dragon with ease. Even if the resources themselves have no connection to the weapon, the idea behind their use is just as important. Shaping a twig to resemble to symbolize Yggdrasil would work just as well as a branch from the World Tree itself.

Journey before Destination

A Myth is more than the heroic act that everyone remembers, all parts of the process are important to the formation of a hero. Hercules wouldn’t have made it to where he was without his 12 labors. The journey it took to make an item is just as important as the way the item is used. The more time, effort, and research you had to put into creating an item strengthens its myth. Crossing entire worlds for a branch of a special tree could find your creation gaining power from the actions you took during your journey. At no point will the powers gained from your journeys influence your creations in a manner you don’t want.

Arsenal

Your copies can be handed out to multiple different people, allowing for each copy to deepen the object’s Myth, although at a lesser rate than the original, it is still a noticeable increase. Initially you will have only one copy of each creation, although the more each variation is used the faster you will be able to hand out another copy. The more complicated and powerful a creation, the more it takes to create another copy. A simple knife would regenerate almost instantaneously, while something on the level of Avalon (from Fate) would take much longer.
